Literary Analysis

Life is an adventure in itself. In the book, The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer, written by Mark Twain, Tom seeks an Adventure at every stop in his life. Toms friends grow as people and create a stronger friendship with their adventures. Tom, Huck and Joe are very different but it's their same love of adventures is the reason their friends. In Chapter 25, Tom and Huck leave their life behind them in search for treasure. The two companions leave that day and search near the dead limbed tree. That afternoon, the boys dig in a number of places around the tree but find nothing.

“There comes a time in every rightly-constructed boy's life when he has a raging desire to go somewhere and dig for hidden treasure.”

[Excerpt From: Twain, Mark. “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Chapter 25.” ]

Here Mark Twain is emphasizing that Tom is was looking for another new adventure. These adventures are what make Tom the person he truly is. Even though tom doesn't have permission from Aunt Polly to go on an adventure. Toms adventures strengthen his friendships. Tom has gone on many adventures with his friends where he's needed his friends help. Tom, Joe and Huck all ran away to Jackson's Island relying on only themselves. They had to trust that each person would help each other out and make the right decisions. Tom's adventures have taught him many life lessons that he doesn't even know. He's learned Teamwork, trust, leadership and many others just from one of his many adventures. Tom Adventures led to many more adventures in his life.
