John Wall also drives to the basket looking for an easy shot. If the shot isn't open then Wall passes the ball out too a teammate for the shot. Wall has a good jump shot too only behind Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook and Kyrie Irving. Wall has a better supporting cast then Irving which leads Wall to get more assists and not have the ball as much. What if these similar guards played on the same team? Who would start and who would come in as a sixth man. John Wall would start at the point guard position but, you don't want to keep an extremely skilled offensive player such as Irving on the bench. Since Irving is looking to score unlike Wall who looks to pass before looking to shoot, Irving would start at the shooting guard. Irving starting at the shooting guard position would allow him to focus more on scoring and not passing unlike a point guard. With Irving's shaky defense he would be perfect at the shooting guard. They're not many high scoring shooting guards around the league that Irving would have to guard tightly. With Walls good defense he would be able to shut down many of the good point guards around the league.
