"He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life".
Courage is being scared to death and doing it anyways.
My "it" was switching schools. In 3rd grads my parents had knew people who had kids in the Fenn School. My parents had told me I was going to apply there this year. I went through the process of taking the tests to get in. Then I was faced with the question, do I really want to go to Fenn. I didn't want to leave my friends behind at school and go into a new environment. I didn't know anyone from my school that was going to Fenn and I felt like I was starting over. I also didn't want to leave the system of my old school. Fenn had a much different schedule that my school and I didn't want to leave it behind. My parents and others convinced me that Fenn was better for my future. I had received a letter in the mail from Fenn. It read that I had gotten in Fenn and I took their offer.
Without courage you won't be able to move forward in life. You won't be able to move past the things your scared of which, will leave you dead in the water. Courage is a skill that can't be taught by another person, you teach yourself how to overcome your conflicts.
Looking back on what I had done, going to Fenn I had made the right decision to come here. I'm glad that I was able to power through all my worries and make the correct decision.
Courage is being able to wake up in the morning not afraid to take on any task.
